In eight days, on the last weekend of August, the International Air Show and Military Display can start in good order in Kecskemét, Major General Zsolt Sándor, Deputy Commander of the Hungarian Defence Forces announced at a press conference held at the Ministry of Defense in Budapest on Thursday, 19th August.
Their already excellent relations were even further improved by signing a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Defence and the town of Kecskemét. The signatories of the document were Minister of Defence Tibor Benkő and Mayor of Kecskemét Klaudia Pataki Szemereyné, in the Ministry’s Balaton Street building on 30th January.
The International Air Show and Military Display will be held in Kecskemét on August 28-29. On Friday, 2nd July, Minister of Defence Tibor Benkő and Major General RomuluszRuszin-Szendi, Commander of the Hungarian Defence Forces, held a press conference on the most spectacular military event of the year at the 59th Szentgyörgyi Dezső Air Base of the Hungarian Defence Forces.
After a multi-year break, the International Air Show and Military Display will be organized again in Kecskemét in 2021. Tens of thousands of people are expected to visit the mass gathering, which is unique in Hungary and Central Europe.
